Only photos can capture the essence of Iceland — at least next to being there itself. I’ve tried using the English language (with a dash of made-up adjectives) but there really are not enough words to fully convey the intensity of emotions that I felt when I was there. So just like in my other Iceland posts (see Iceland Wonderland; On The Road, Breathless; Iceland From The Passenger Seat; Shiny, Shimmery Jökulsárlón), I will let images do the talking again.
Presenting some of our favorite farmhouses in Iceland (literally in the middle of nowhere and cannot be found without exact GPS directions), one of which is the Royal Family’s go-to whenever they’re in the country.
